Seminar on Successful Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh

The Management Department of American International University-Bangladesh and AIUB Society 4 HR organized a seminar on “Successful Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh” on 20th March 2011. The target audience was the students of the course in entrepreneurship development. The main purpose of the seminar was to promote entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. The seminar took place in the Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. for one hour. The program started with the welcome address of the honorable Associate Dean, Dr. Matiur Rahman. The resource person of the seminar was Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Envoy Group, Chairman of Sheltech Pvt. Ltd, and Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association. Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Director, BBA  Program; Mrs. Farheen Hassan, Head, Department of Management and many other faculty members were also present at the seminar. The topic was very interesting covering the individual experience of the successful entrepreneur in Bangladesh. The resource person  shared his experiences and motivated the students to become an entrepreneur. He also discussed about how he initiated his business and how the entrepreneurs works for the development of the country. The lecture ended with a lively question-answer session. The students were very happy to join the seminar and the resource persons expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to the Department of Management for the invitation and hospitality. At the end of the seminar, Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Director, BBA & MBA Program, delivered the vote of thanks and the resource speaker was given a certificate of appreciation and some souvenirs from the university. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Samia Shabnaz, a faculty of the  Department of Management, Faculty of Business Administration.
