A seminar on Project Management: Global Standards & Best Practices was organized by the Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Business Administration, on September 29, 2009 at the Auditorium of Campus 1 of AIUB.
Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Faculty, Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Business Administration gave the welcome speech in the seminar. Zahirul Md. Islam, PMP, Head of Corporate Portfolio Management, Technology Competence Service, Grameenphone Ltd and Mr. Tanvir Rahman, Corporate Program Management Officer, AKTEL, an AIUB Alumni, were the guest speakers in the seminar.
Mr. Mohib was also the key note speaker and presented on the topic of Project Management, by PMI. The guest speakers shared valuable insights on the topic of the seminar, and also provided important information on how to achieve PMP and CAPM Certifications to the participants.
Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, in his concluding speech emphasized, the significance of acquiring international certificates, and continually encouraged the students to be on the path of becoming future leaders.
The program ended with giving of certificates and gifts to guest speakers from Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dr. Tazul Islam, and Dr. Matiur Rahman, with many thanks to all the participations for being part of the intellectual enrichment through this seminar, organized by the Department of Operations Management, Faculty of Business Administration. |
