SEMINAR ON “Project and Thesis: Inception and Impact. An alumni Experience” organized by AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES)

AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) organized a seminar on Project and Thesis: Inception and Impact. An alumni Experience” on 10th July 2014 at AIUB Campus 2, Room# 266. The aim of the seminar was to share experience and to provide information on project and thesis to the students. Three alumnus of EEE Department Mr. Atul Rahman (Part-time Microcontroller Course Instructor, Pi-labs Bangladesh Ltd and ASIC Design Engineer, Fast Track Design Inc), Mr. Md. Maruf Ibne Hasan (Associate Expert, Embedded System Department, Error lab) and Mr. Kazi Ahmed Asif Fuad (The Vice Chancellor’s Award Winner at the 14th Convocation of AIUB for the Best “Design Project” from Bachelor of Science in EEE) were the guest speakers.

Mr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Assistant professor, Faculty of Engineering & Special Assistant, OSA) started the ceremony with few words and thanked the alumnus for their participation. Mr. Akram Hossain Chowdhury (Assistant professor, Faculty of Engineering & Special Assistant, OSA) uttered some words on project & thesis topic. All the guest speakers shared their experience related to project & thesis. Besides, Mr. Atul Rahman delivered his speech on “Design and Implementation of Multi-purpose System with GSM Modem”. Mr. Md. Maruf Ibne Hasan focused on “FPGA & Microcontroller Based Data Acquisition System using Two Wire Serial Communication”. Mr. Kazi Ahmed Asif Fuad talked on “Design and Implementation of Centralized load Controlled Automated Power System Network (CLCAPSN)”. After that, an interactive question & answer session took place.

At the end of the seminar Dr. M. A. Mannan (Head, Undergraduate Program) shared a short speech on the benefits of such seminars and handed over gift vouchers to the speakers as a symbol of gratitude and the effective seminar came to an end with a vote of thanks to the speakers and AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES).
