A seminar titled “MIS for future leaders” was organized by the Department of Management Information Systems (MIS), Faculty of Business Administration on 18th of March in the Multi-Purpose Hall at 2 PM with Steve Anthony Jacob, Deputy General Manager, Bdnews24.com as the resource person. Mr. Danilo G. Morgia, Director, I.T. Operations delivered a welcome speech and informed the audience about present trend of MIS curriculum in academics and was optimistic to find pool of students taking MIS as major, both in the BBA and MBA program.
The guest speaker – Steve Anthony Jacob explained the implications and the different aspects of career perspectives in the field of MIS. He shared his career journey and explained how his business degrees (BBA and MBA) majoring in MIS have prepared him to apply ICT skills in creative new ways to solve various business challenges and helped him to achieve his goals in corporate world (both local and international). He shed light on many useful information by providing quality contents and many examples on the contemporary issues such as Business analytics, Digital marketing, Search engine optimization, Block chain etc.   
In this closing speech Mr. Danilo G. Morgia expressed his gratitude & thanks to the resource person Steve Anthony Jacob for taking his precious time to come and visit AIUB and Mr.Mehzabul Hoque Nahid, assistant professor, dept of MIS as organizer of the seminar. Mr. Danilo G. Morgia and Mr.Mehzabul Hoque Nahid handed over the certificate of appreciation along with a gift  to the guest speaker of the seminar.
