Seminar on Leadership Skills

The Management Department of American International University-Bangladesh  organized a seminar on “Leadership Skill in Modern Organization” on 23 March 2011. The target audience were the students of the course in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management . The main purpose of the seminar was to inform the students on how to develop leadership skills among students. The seminar took place in Campus 1 auditorium at 5:30-6:30PM. The program started with the welcome address by the honorable  Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva. The resource person of the seminar was Maj. Gen Abul Kalam Md. Humayun Kabir Ndc, Psc , Military Secretary to the Honorable President of People’ s Republic of Bangladesh .  Mrs. Farheen Hassan, Head, Department of Management, Mr. Mostofa Jaman and Mr.Adnan Hossain coordinated the conduct of the seminar.  The resource person  shared his experiences and motivated the students to become a successful leader. He also discussed about how the defense persons are given leadership training and how their leadership skills are honed. The lecture ended with a lively question-answer session. The students were very happy to join the seminar and the resource persons expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to the Department of Management for the invitation and hospitality. The resource speaker was presented a Certificate of Appreciation and some souvenirs of  the university by Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva Dean, Faculty of Business Administration. At the end of the seminar, Mrs. Farheen Hassan Head, Department of Management delivered the vote of thanks.
