Seminar on Introduction to Different Banking Activities, Employers' Requirement from Fresh Graduates
New Member Orientation 2014

On 11th February, 2014 a seminar entitled “"Introduction to Different Banking Activities, Employers' Requirement from Fresh Graduates", was organized by Ms. Narzia Florin, Faculty member of Business Administration, Finance Department. The Resource speaker was Mr. Noor Mohammed, Executive Vice President and Manager of ONE BANK LIMITED, Kawran Bazaar Branch.  Mr. Noor  graduated from University of Dhaka, Finance Department. He has started his career with Eastern Bank Limited where he worked for 7 years.

The seminar commenced with an inspiring welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Charles. C. Villanueva, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Faculty of Business Administration. The seminar was very practical as it was emphasizing on the importance of practical experiences in banking industry and skills required to join the banking sector. Mr. Noor made the session very lively and interactive, motivating our students to participate in the discussion. The seminar came to an end with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ehsan Uddin Ahmed,  Associate Dean of FBA. The Head of Finance department, Dr. Dulal Miah and otherfaculty members were also present in the seminar.

The seminar was very informative and helpful for the students as it provides students on how they can face interview board with what sort of questions. Additional information were given to the  student s on how to effectively  face interview board in the banking profession. The seminar ended with a fervent hope that it has enhanced the awareness of the students on how to be successful in their desire to work in the bank.
