Seminar on Engineering Career

A seminar on Engineering Career was held on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012. The seminar started at 4:30 in the afternoon. The objective of the seminar was to inspire and guide students through their professional life. The seminar was interactive in nature and featured prominent AIUB alumni as guest speakers.  The seminar was hosted by Arman Riaz Ochi, Lecturer EEE Department AIUB. The guest speakers were Nahid Hossain (AIUB Alumni) Co-founder, Managing Director and Director of Technical Operations, Brotecs Technology Limited, Salehuddin Ahmed (AIUB Alumni) Software Engineer, Brotecs Technology Limited, Maymur Bin Karnain (AIUB Alumni) Research Development Engineer, BIG Energy. The seminar started with a short speech by Prof. Dr. A.B.M. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering. Faculty members from EEE department,  Mr. Salman Quaiyum, Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain and Head of the Department Mr. Rinku Basak were also present in the seminar. The speakers shared the experiences of their professional careers right from the very beginning when it all started onto their present positions to a packed room of enthusiastic students. They also informed and advised the students regarding the technical perspectives of professional life and recruitment policies of engineering firms.
