On Monday, May 5, 2026, the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, AIUB organized an insightful seminar titled “Emerging Trends in Health and Life Sciences.” The seminar brought together distinguished academicians, researchers, industry experts, faculty members, and students to explore recent advancements and future directions in health and life science research.
The program was graced by the Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, as the Special Guest. The seminar featured an inspiring keynote address by Dr. A.H.M. Nurun Nabi on “Decoding the Genetic Blueprint: Emerging Trends in Life Sciences for Bangladesh.”
The event also included engaging presentations by distinguished speakers, including Dr. Md Abdul Haque, Dr. Abdul Motakabbir Chaudhury, and Dr. Mohammad Riazul Islam, who shared valuable insights on pharmaceutical innovation, sustainable biotechnology, genomics, and emerging scientific research.
