Seminar on “Corporate Culture & Business Marketing Practices from the context of Bangladesh Telecom Industry”

Marketing Department of AIUB organized a seminar on “Corporate Culture & Business Marketing Practices from the context of Bangladesh Telecom Industry” on 13th of October, 2011 in the auditorium from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Mr. Mashooq Samiul, Head of SME, Citycell was the key speaker. He spoke about several vital issues regarding Corporate Cultutre & SME sales strategies based on his professional experience & enlighten the audience through sharing ideas and issues required to be addressed for formulating sales strategies in B2B sector. The target audience was the students of the courses –Strategic Marketing & Business to Business (B2B) Marketing who are dong their major courses in the dynamic field of Marketing. The seminar started with the welcome address by honorable Dean, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva. Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Director, BBA Program; Mr. Zobair Shibli, Asst. Professor and Head, Department of Marketing & Faculties from Marketing & other departments also attended the session. After the presentation, an open & lively question and answer session took place. At the end of the program, Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury & Dr. Md. Ziaul Hoq, shared their valuable words in order to encourage students for relating their theoretical understanding of the courses studied in AIUB with contemporary practices in the businesssector. Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury delivered the vote of thanks and the resource speaker was given a certificate of appreciation from the university. The event was initiated & coordinated by Ms. Tahsina Khan, faculty of Department of Marketing.
