On Monday, 15th June, 2026, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES), in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, organized a seminar at the Multipurpose Hall, D-Building, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). The session was held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the seminar highlighted the significance of industrial automation and introduced EEE students to career opportunities, essential professional skills, and emerging industry trends in the field of automation.

The event commenced with an opening speech delivered by Prof. Dr. ABM Siddique Hossain, (Professor and Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), who emphasized the importance of adapting to technological advancements and exploring diverse engineering career paths. The technical session was conducted by Mr. Mustafa Rabiul Hassan (Manager, Electrical & Automation, GPH Ispat Ltd.). He shared valuable insights from his professional experience in the industrial automation sector and discussed practical applications of automation, control systems, smart manufacturing, and electrical engineering knowledge in real industrial environments. The speaker also emphasized technical skills, problem-solving ability, continuous learning, and industry readiness for EEE graduates.

Toward the end of the session, a token of appreciation was presented by Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan (Professor and Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) as a gesture of gratitude for the speaker’s valuable contribution. Overall, the seminar successfully enriched the participants’ understanding of industrial automation and inspired them to prepare themselves for future career opportunities in the modern engineering industry.
