Seminar on Android Platform: Perspective and Application Development

Engineering Students Association of Bangladesh in collaboration with AIUB Continuing Education Center offered a seminar titled “Android Platform: Perspective and Application Development" on February 24, 2012 held at AIUB Auditorium. The seminar was about the introduction of new mobile and tablet computing technology ANDROID system. The main presenters of the seminar are Ahsanul Karim, Chairman & CEO, Sentinel Solutions Ltd and M J Murshed Chowdhury, CTO, Center for Technology Development. Ahsanul Karim gave a presentation on Android and M J Murshed Chowdhury gave a presentation on Open Source Philosophy focusing on Android. The unit members of ESAB from AIUB co-ordinated the seminar. Munir Hasan, General Secretary of BDOSN and Md. Manirul Islam, Director of AIUB Continuing Education Center were present in the seminar and gave their valuable speech regarding Android market. Senior faculty members of different universities joined the seminar. Around 200 students from the different universities especially students of CSE department from AIUB, AUST, BUET, SUST, JU, BracU, UIU, JNU, UITS, KUET, RUET, CUET and some other professional programmer attended the seminar spontaneously. A little quiz exam was held in the seminar and three persons were given the prizes by the guests. DVD with tutorials and software were distributed among the participants after the seminar.
