Engineering Students’ Association of Bangladesh (ESAB)-AIUB Unit Face has organized a seminar titled by “Seminar on Android” on Tuesday (22/07/2014) in AIUB Auditorium. Android is considered by most as the world’s most powerful mobile platform. The motive of this seminar was to launch the basic ideas of Android and familiarizing the participants with the characteristics and applications of Android. The seminar started at 12:15 pm. Afterwards, a brief promo video was demonstrated focusing on ESAB’s mission, vision and activities. At first, Mr. Md Tarik Mahmud (MEMBER R&D at Commlink Info Tech Ltd), through a multimedia presentation, gave the underlying ideas of engaging to Android. Later, Mr. Raihan Ahmed (Senior Programmer Android at Amadeyr Cloud Ltd), provided the fundamental concept of UI and UX design. Later on, Mr. Sharriar Mahboob (Software Engineer at LeadSoft Banglades Ltd), described the process of App monetization.

At the end, Dr. Tabin Hasan, (Asst. Professor and  Head, Graduate Program, Faculty of Science & Information Technology), gave an ending speech and handed over honorary gifts to the key speakers Mr. Md Tarik Mahmud, Mr. Rauhan Ahmed and Mr. Sharriar Mahboob as a symbol of appreciation.

The entire seminar was hosted by Upoma Saha (Face member) and it was organized by Md. Tahmidul Abedin (Face member) and other organizing and working members under the supervision of Sakib Rahman (Face member).
