A seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare was held at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), where Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Engineering Manager in the Digital Health department at Omron Healthcare, Singapore, delivered an insightful talk.

Dr. Rahman discussed key AI technologies such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Robotics, highlighting their applications in modern healthcare. He also provided insights into research and career opportunities in AI within the Bangladeshi context.
Dr. Md. Abdullah-Al-Jubair, Director of FST, and Dr. Debajyoti Karmaker, Head (Undergraduate) of the Computer Science Department, welcomed the distinguished speaker. Prof. Dr. Kamruddin Nur, Computer Science Department, opened up the question & answering session. The faculty members from Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry attended the seminar and actively engaged in a lively question-and-answer session, making it an interactive and informative event. The discussion highlighted AI’s role in shaping the future of healthcare, encouraging students and researchers to explore new frontiers in this rapidly evolving field.
