On Tuesday, 7th July 2026, the Department of Social Science organized a lecture series session at D building, Multipurpose Hall, level 10 which aimed at preparing graduating students for internships and future career opportunities.

The Department of Social Science at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully hosted a seminar on Agriculture in Bangladesh: Challenges Innovations and Future Prospects featuring Dr. Md. Raju Ahmed, Additional Deputy Director at the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Ministry of Agriculture. Dr. Ahmed delivered a powerful lecture on the "Agriculture of Bangladesh," providing students with a deep dive into the sector's vital role in national development.

The session focused on modern agricultural strategies and sustainable practices, offering participants invaluable perspectives from a leading expert.
