The Department of Management Information System (MIS), organized a seminar titled “Agile Way of Developing Software” at Annex-3 of AIUB campus on August 16 at 4pm with Mr. Tawfiq Mohammad Abdus Sattar, Head of ERP Solution, ERA InfoTech Limited as the keynote speaker. Mr. Satter discussed customer-centric software development methodology, industry practices and the next industry requirement in the field of information Technology (IT) and Business. He also encouraged participants to focus on data-driven learning to meet the future market requirements like data analyst, data scientist etc.

As a certified Agile leader, Mr. Satter shared his learning and professional experiences in the software development projects and importance of agile methodology in the software development life cycle (SDLC). In his session, the speaker addressed complexities and prospects of using agile and other methodologies in the software development process. Meanwhile, the speaker highlighted students’ skills requirements and suggested students focus on communication skills with technical skills to secure the next market position.
