Seminar from Grameen Phone at AIUB on Industry Oriented Academic Focus

On 16th July 2008, Department of Computer Science, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized a seminar on Industry Oriented Academic Focus presented by experts from Grameen Phone (GP). The goal of the seminar was to get familiar with the recent trend of technology in the Telecommunication industry. Prof A B M Siddique Hussain, Dean, Faculty of Science, AIUB formally opened the seminar. The distinguished speakers from different departments of GP including HR, Operational Support Systems (OSS), Operating with Service Network Systems (SNO), and IT then presented their work areas and activities related to Computer Science. Speakers from GP include Mr. Shariful Islam (HR), Mr. Azman Sami (OSS), Mr. Ashiqur Rahman (SNO), and Issam Kamal (IT). The presentation session was followed by an interactive question and answer session. Faculty members and students from different disciplines witnessed the invaluable presentations.
