Revision of Spring 2022-23 Registration [updated on 10 January 2023]

 

As per the guideline and instruction of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh the Academic Calendar of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) has been revised. The detail information is already posted in the noticeboard.

In the revised academic calendar with 2 regular semesters per academic calendar, an undergraduate student must enroll for minimum 15 credits (undergraduate) to confirm registration or 18 credits (undergraduate) for retaining/availing scholarship, academic award, waiver or any sort of tuition fee grant. For graduate program students, minimum credit enrollment requirement is 15 (For scholarship, academic award, waiver, any sort of tuition fee grant recipients) or 12 (for job holders, subject to submission of original job certificate, will receive alumni waiver, will not be entitled for academic award and academic scholarship) or 9 (for job holders, subject to submission of original job certificate, will not receive alumni waiver) in each regular semester. Hence, the Spring 2022-23 registration of the students will require to be updated.

The existing preregistration of the students will be automatically updated with the revised class/ lab time schedule (as posted in the separate notice).

Those who have taken less credits during pre-registration for Spring 2022-23 semester are advised to register for additional required credits to finalize their registration.

A separate notice will be posted as per ID schedule along with guideline from individual faculty for the students to revise and update their registration for Spring 2022-23 semester.

Please note that the scholarships, academic award, waiver, discount, any sort of tuition fee grant will be subject to this revised minimum credit enrollment policy as mentioned above.
