Rashed Hasan, a Fifth year student of Architecture was awarded with the First Prize for his innovative design solution at a Design Competition organized by BRAC University which was open for all architecture students of Bangladesh. The Design Charrette was held on October 5, 2012 at Brac University and the award was handed over to Rashed on October 7, 2012 in a ceremony in front of distinguished guests, architects, teachers and students. The jurors’ commended highly on the merits of the winning entry by Rashed. The award is a recognition of Rashed’s individual talent as well as an indicator of the potential of architecture students at AIUB. We congratulate Rashed Hasan on this magnificent achievement and would like to encourage other students for similar participation in future. The Architecture family is very proud of Rashed Hasan for bringing such an honor for the Department.
