PRESENTATION ON “YUVA RATNA AWARDS 2010” AT ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT

Architecture Department arranged a presentation by Mr. Ayon Chkraborty from India as a representative from Birla White Cement to introduce the International Student Design Competition “Yuva Ratna Awards 2010” on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Department. The program was attended by the senior students of Architecture along with teachers. 
The International Design Competition is targeted for architecture students. Birla White instituted Yuva Ratna Awards in the year 2004 to recognize and reward budding talent in the field of architecture. The Award is an initiative to bring innovative design concepts to light, so that they can be an inspiration for others to think beyond conventional design paradigms. The award has scaled great heights since its inception. The audience was greatly inspired by the presentation and enthusiastic about participation.  The Department Coordinator M. Arefeen Ibrahim thanked Mr. Chakraborty for his sincere effort and commendable presentation.
