The Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), AIUB organized a student-centric competitive event entitled ‘Poster Competition on Branding Bangladesh – Spring 2024-2025 Semester’ for the students of ‘Principles of Marketing’ course of the BBA Program on Sunday, May 28, 2025, in the Annex 3 of AIUB campus. A total of 21 teams from 3 sections of the Principles of Marketing course participated in the competition. They presented their creative posters in front of the respected jury panel, distinguished guests, faculty members, and the students during an enthusiastic and colorful exhibition session. The teams prepared their respective posters on a selected district of Bangladesh, highlighting the key businesses & popular products; famous food, culture & customs; travelling destinations & tourism opportunities; historical places & interests; and the renowned personalities and others.

The poster exhibition and the presentation session was graced with the kind presence of the Advisor, and Dean-in-Charge of the Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain as the Chief Guest along with the distinguished guests; Director, Graduate Program, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam; Director, Undergraduate Program, Dr. Rezbin Nahar; and the Head of the Depart of Marketing, IB, & THM, Prof. Dr. Partha P. Chowdhury. The Jury panel members Dr. Sahin Akter Sarker, Associate Professor, and Mr. Stanley Rodick, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing, FBA evaluated the respective team’s performance based on their poster design & visual appeal, contents covered & information provided, presentation & communication skills, and overall contribution & group dynamics to confront questions regarding their designed posters. At the end, the juries and guests declared the event winners and presented certificates and gift packs to the members of the Champion, 1st Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up teams.

The event was initiated and organized by Mr. Hamidul Islam, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing, FBA, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Partha P. Chowdhury, Head of the Department of Marketing, IB, and THM. The Department of Marketing, FBA, would like to thank the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB, and the Administrative Officials concerned of AIUB for providing all types of logistical facilities and support services in arranging the event successfully.
