A daylong poster competition titled “Open your Social Eyes to See Our Society” was organized by the Department of Social Science at campus 7 on 10th December, 2015. The event aimed at making FASS students aware of various social issues of Bangladesh. 

The session was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Science, in presence of the Head of the Department of Social Science, Dr. Md. Taufiqul Islam, and Faculty member Ms. Shaira Matin.

 Among all sections of Basics in Social Science, 32 posters were selected and displayed in the poster Competition. Six best teams were given certificates of appreciation. The judges panel included Dr. Faheem Hasan Shahed, Ms. Shaila Ahmed and Mehedi Kaiser Pabitra.

The event ended successfully with the enthusiastic participation of all the students. The Department of  Social Science humbly acknowledges the generous support of the AIUB management for making the even successful.
