Poster Competition For Economic Geography Students

Thursday 11 December 2014 A daylong poster competition was organized by the Department of  Economics in campus 7 on 17 th April, 2014. The event aimed at making the students attending the Economic Geography course, aware of various economic and social issues of Bangladesh. Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Science, in presence of other faculty members, Md. Shawkat Ali, Ms. Farhana Rafiq, Mr.Rezwanul H. Rana, Ms. Sharmin Shabnam, Mr. Rubayyat Hashmi  inaugurated the event . The Head of the department Md. Shawkat Ali.  Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Science concluded the program with a motivational ending speech. About sixty posters were presented  in this event out of which five best prosters were given certificates of appreciation. The honorable judges list included Md. Shawkat Ali, Mr. Rubayyat Hashmi and  Ms.Godhuli Bhattacharya. Mr. Rezwanul H. Rana and Ms. Sharmin Shabnam were the main coordinators of the program The event ended successfully with the enthusiastic participation of all the students and generous cooperation of the AIUB management.
