The Department of Marketing organized a poster competition for the students of Principles of Marketing at the study area of Campus 1 of the university on March 28, 2017. Twenty (20) teams from five different sections of the course got the opportunity to attend the final round. Students participated in this event with very positive attitude and enthusiasm. Students were highly motivated and inspired by Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean, Faculty of Business Administration as he joined the event and shared his valuable ideas and guidelines to all group members. Professor Dr. Tajul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Science also joined the event and inspired the students. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Professor & Program Director [Grad.] attended the event, discussed in details with all groups, shared his valuable observations, provided necessary suggestions, and motivated to the student participants.

The panel of judges evaluated the respective teams’ performance based on their presentation and communication skills, efforts, and ability to confront questions regarding their posters. Mr. AKM Kamrul Haque, Mr. Hamidul Islam and Mr. Stanley Sumon Rodrick, Assistant Professors of Department of Marketing were the honourable members of the jury. This Poster Competition on the subject of Principles of Marketing is a unique concept that aims to help young BBA student enthusiasts to become the future business leaders in Bangladesh. The event was organized by Mr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury, Assistant Professor (Event Coordinator), Ms. Yesmin Sultana, Senior Lecturer, Mr. Mahmudul Hasan, Lecturer, Dr. Md. Khaled Amin, Faculty,  Mr. Shafkat Reza Chowdhury, Lecturer of Department of Marketing.
