As part of its 14 Years Celebrations a week long Photography Exhibition and Art Exhibition were held simultaneously at the Study area and the 5th Floor of Campus 2 from 8th of November 2009. Both the exhibitions were inaugurated by our Honorable Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. Anwar Hossain. The Photographs displayed in the Exhibition have been shot and displayed by the members of the AIUB Photography Club (APC) and all the art work displayed in the Art Exhibition has been done by the members of the AIUB Arts Club (AAC). The Photography Exhibition reflects a wide range of subjects starting from spectacular objects of nature to human expressions caught on frame to scenic portrayal of Bangladesh along with other rare and memorable moments and subjects have also been aptly depicted by the different snap shots on display. Similarly in the Art Exhibition some work of extraordinary quality from different media have been put on display. There are some life-like Water Colors, some symbolic Oil on Canvas, realistic Pencil and Charcoal sketches, bright and colorful Pastel, Acrylic and Poster Colors along with some interesting mixed media, Ceramic work and very eye catchy Glass Paintings. The exhibitions offer a truly a wonderful assortment of Art Work in the 5th Floor and Photographs in the Study Area of Campus 2 which have been painstakingly put together by the amateur artists of AAC and the amateur photographers of APC. Everyone from the AIUB community should make an effort to go visit this praiseworthy Photography Exhibition in order to encourage these Rising Stars of AIUB.
