A New Data Centre, Two Virtual Labs and a New Version of the AIUB Web Portal was inaugurated on January 29, 2015 at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) by the Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z  Lamagna. During the opening ceremony, The Vice Chancellor visited the data centre, the virtual labs and browsed through the new web portal and appreciated the efforts of the personals who made these possible. Mr. Mashiour Rahman (Director, FSIT), Mr. Manirul Islam (Director, CEC and Network Operations), Mr. Lutfor Rahman (Director, PR and Legal Affairs), Mr. Khurshed Alam (Additional Register), Mr. Danilo G Morgia (Director, IT Service Operations)  were present in the occasion with other high officials from the University. The new Virtual Labs of AIUB has 40 Units per lab enabled with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Technology. The state of the art Data centre has the following latest technologies:
