My Dream Business Exhibition by AIUB Business Club (ABC)

To unleash the business potentials and creativity, to ignite the fire of entrepreneurship inside the business students, AIUB Business Club (ABC) introduced a new concept of contest and exhibition titled My Dream Business, held on 12th and 13th of April 2010 at AIUB Business School campus. The ABC members presented their dream-business-ideas and outlined their future business plans in an artistic way that amused the visitors, students, and teachers. All the 25 projects outlined some common points: business name, logo, slogan, mission and vision, business type, organizational structure, target market, business locations, number of employees, office and plant exterior-interior photos, and product or service photos. Participants got constructive criticisms and valuable suggestions from the faculty members of AIUB Business School about their projects which will make their dream-business more realistic and feasible. The award giving ceremony was held on 28th April 2010 in AIUB Auditorium. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. AKM Matiur Rahman , Director of BBA program, and Mr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Director of MBA program and Faculty Advisor of ABC were present at the ceremony. The final result was announced based on the marking of the business faculties. Champion: Mohammad Raihan Islam
1st Runner-up: Maimuna Arefin
2nd Runner-up: Nefaur Rahman Bhuiyan The winners were awarded with Crest and Certificate of Recognition. All the 25 participants were given the Certificate of Achievement. One of the missions of AIUB Business Club (ABC) is Entrepreneurship Development which is practiced by events like this. ABC has a plan to arrange this event for all the students of AIUB in near future that will help them to put business leadership into practice.
