Academia-Industry collaboration is the key to technological advancement and promotes useful innovation aimed at improving the quality of education in a country. American International University – Bangladesh [AIUB] has always moved forward with that focus in mind. It has, over the years, collaborated with different companies for the benefit of its students and society at large.

Pursuant to this policy, on the March 2, 2022 AIUB signed a Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] with Riseup Labs an ISO certified leading technology solution and service provider company in Bangladesh. Riseup Labs and American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) entered into an Agreement with the view of fostering academic & professional co-operation.

The MOU signing ceremony was presided over by the Director, Office of Placement and Alumni of American International University-Bangladesh, Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA and the Chief Executive Officer of Riseup Labs, Mr. Ershadul Hoque on behalf of their respective organizations. The MOU highlights various areas of cooperation in the fields of students’ placement, assistance for academic research, mutual sharing of experts for the benefit of the two parties to the MOU. The agreement also covers the granting of certain facilities to employees of Riseup Labs wishing to take up MBA, MSCS, MEEE and EMBA, in American International University-Bangladesh. The signing ceremony was attended, on behalf of AIUB, by Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA.
