With a strong history of proactive and constructive collaboration, the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) and the Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), Thailand, signed the agreement to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the institutions. PIM was founded in 2007 by CP All, the retail wing of the Thai conglomerate, CP Group, and is the country’s first and largest corporate university geared towards providing work-based learning in higher education. Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, the Vice Chancellor of AIUB, visited the PIM Campus on the 10^th of January 2022, where she met with Mr. Siam Choksawangwong, the Executive Director and Senior Vice President for Administrative Affairs at PIM, Dr. Usanee Kulintornprasert, the Director for the Office of International Relations, Ms. Tanarat Teeratanakiat, the Director for the International Marketing & Recruitment Section, and Mr. Panisara Termkijkajonsuk, the Assistant Director for the Office of International Relations. After a tour of the Satit School and Food Academy, Dr. Lamagna and Mr. Choksawangwong officially signed the MoU, renewing the collaborative affiliation to further pursue and develop academic, co-curricular, and cultural initiatives. AIUB and PIM have been international partners, engaging in various productive programs since 2017 and are looking forward to continuing their pursuit for improving higher education in the global arena.
