Department of Media and Mass Communication (MMC) organized a media visit to Jamuna Television on 10 March, 2016. It was organized for its students who are doing the course ‘Television Production: News & Current Affairs’ in the Spring Semester 2015-2016. The Chief News Editor (CNE) of Jamuna Television, Fahim Ahmed, welcomed the students at their office at Basundhara Residential Area of the capital. Senior News Editor Tawhidul Islam briefed the students about the process of news gathering at the beginning while News Editor Mizanul Islam explained the function of the newsroom.
Later the students visited News Studio, Production Control Room (PCR) and Master Control Room (MCR) of Jamuna Television to experience the News Production Process. Faculty members of MMC, Shameem Ara Sheulli, Mohammed Foysal Chowdhury and Mir Md Fazla Rabby accompanied the students.
