The day-long celebration of creativity and culture brought together students from schools, colleges, and universities for a vibrant showcase of artistic talent.

The event featured multiple competitions, including an On-Spot Painting Competition and an On-Campus Mobile Photography Competition, both open to students from classes 9 to 12. A Poster Presentation Competition welcomed participation from both school and university-level students. These contests provided a platform for young minds to express themselves through art while encouraging positive engagement and creativity.

Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB, attended the program as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he praised the MMC Department for organizing such a vibrant event and congratulated all the winners and participants in the competition for their enthusiasm and talent.

Dr. A J M Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan, Advisor to the MMC Department, officially inaugurated the fest following a warm welcome from Ms. Rani Ellen V. Ramos, who greeted guests and participants, setting an energetic tone for the program.

During the inaugural session, Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan, Registrar of AIUB, underscored the importance of creative platforms in today’s media landscape. He remarked that in an era where social media is increasingly filled with negativity and chaos, artistic competitions such as MMC Fest can help unite students and foster positivity through creative expression.

Echoing this sentiment, the advisor of MMC emphasized the significance of aesthetic experiences in confronting social challenges. He noted that at a time when negativity is widespread in society, students can respond by embracing and promoting artistic values.

The fest concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, where winners from the various competitions were recognized for their talent and hard work. The winners were rewarded with prize money, certificates and special gift bags from the sponsor of the program- Pantel. The Vice Chancellor handed out the awards, followed by a colorful cultural performance that highlighted the diverse talents of AIUB students.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students representing schools, colleges, and universities across Dhaka. It was also attended by Heads, faculty members and academic leaders including Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.

MMC Fest 2025 turned the AIUB campus into a lively hub of youthful energy, artistic expression, and collaborative spirit.
