In the presence of an international community of university presidents, American International University – Bangladesh [AIUB] inked a Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] with the Autonomous University of Guadalajara [UAG], the first private university in Mexico. On the 21^st of May 2016, AIUB and UAG agreed on opening the platform for joint cooperation in areas of research, academic development, and exchange of staff and students, during the IAUP Semi-Annual Meeting 2016 held in Madrid, Spain. The signing ceremony was performed by Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, the Vice Chancellor of AIUB and Lic. Antonio Leaño Reyes, the President of UAG. Both expressed their eager interest in actualizing the numerous opportunities that this agreement opens up for the student and staff of both institutions, looking forward to getting to work on some of the prospective projects already discussed between the two.
