Marketing Faculty participates as Keynote Speaker at International Conference

As part of the regular faculty development program, Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karim, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), participated as a keynote speaker at the Bangkok International Conference 2024. The conference was held from January 27 to 29, 2024, at Rajabhat University, focusing on sustainable business practices and challenges in Management, Humanities, Law, Library Science, and Engineering.

Dr. Karim delivered a compelling keynote address on "Country Brand Management and Sustainability," offering attendees a unique and informed perspective on the current state of nation branding. His presentation significantly enriched the intellectual discourse by providing valuable insights into the concept of nation branding, which involves establishing a nation's values and benefits for its citizens while maintaining a competitive edge. Dr. Karim elaborated on various nation branding approaches, the management process, and the Country Brand Equity Model from a sustainability perspective. His address not only underscored the importance of his topic but also added a thought-provoking dimension to the conference theme.

This participation aligns with the United Nations' key sustainable development goal (SDG) of "Quality Education." The focus of the Department of Marketing, THM, & IB on organizing such conference participations reflects AIUB's commitment to research and faculty development programs, aiming to achieve excellence in education and nurture future professionals in the marketing domain. The Department of Marketing, and THM, FBA, expressed sincere appreciation for all administrative and logistical support received from the AIUB and FBA Management.
