The department of Management and HRM organized a guest lecturer session on “Internal Assessment Considerations for Strategic Management”, on October 17th, 2017 at the Permanent Campus. This was part of a student development initiative for a Strategic Management class, undertaken by the course instructor, Ms. Kishwar M Chowdhury.
Mr. ATM Shamim-uz-Zaman, General Manager of Marketing at Marico Bangladesh, was the guest lecturer in this session. With more than 10 years of extensive industry experience working in Multinationals globally, Mr. Zaman conducted an elaborate session on “The Impact of External and Internal Factors on Strategic Management”. The interactive session comprising of various video demonstrations of strategy in marketing functions was especially effective in facilitating a better understanding of the topics recently taught in class.
At the end of the session, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean, Faculty of Business Administration; and Assistant Professor and Coordinator, Mrs Samia Shabnaz, gave a vote of thanks to the guest speaker for his valuable contribution by presenting him with a gift pack.
