Lecture session on “Supply Chain Management”

Mr. A.A. Mohib, faculty of Operation management, AIUB organized a lecture session on “Supply Chain Management” on behalf Department of Operation management, AIUB on July 18th,2012. The target audience was the students of “Managing Operation and Quality” Section B, 8:00-10:PM. The seminar’s objective was to enrich student’s knowledge on supply management and supply chain management by presenting some case studies which portrayed real-life scenario. The corporate presenters of the event were Mr. Saiful Alam, Mr. Ristia Siraj and Mr. Kaizer. S. Ahmed, key executive members of “Institute for Supply Management – Bangladesh (ISMB).”
 
The ISMB team was comprised of highly talented people from various fields in Operations. The presenters were Mr. Saiful Alam, C.P.M, Vice President, Supply Chain Management, Robi Axiata Limited and Secretary of ISMB, Mr. Ristia Siraj, Project Procurement Manager, Chevron Bangladesh and Mr. Kaizer S. Ahmed, CSOC Manager, Chevron Bangladesh. Also, present were four more members of ISMB in the lecture session.

Along with the MBA Operations Management students, key members of AIUB Operations Management Club also participated in the session. At the end of the presentation various questions were answered by the ISMB team and they were presented Certificates and Souvenirs by Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Associate Dean of FBA.
