The department of MGMT, HR & MIS has observed the   Launching day for revised MIS curriculumn as Major of BBA & MBA on December 12, 2011.  The following events took place on the launching day. Cheerful Rally:
Dean of FBA – Dr. Charles C. Villanueva inaugurated the day long program participating on the cheerful rally organized by dept. of MIS. Students & faculty members joined him on the rally which did pass through different campuses of AIUB in Banani area.  The rally ended back in campus 1 & 5 with loud cheers, shouts & slogans for “MIS”. Flyer Distribution:
Volunteers distributed flyers among students on the launching day on campus 1 & 5. The flyer was very informative about all the changes took place in MIS courses. The following 5 brand new MIS courses has been introduced in the BBA program:

• Information Engineering
• Human Computer Interaction
• Web Based Marketing
• Microsoft Dynamics
• Business Intelligence Tools

The following 2 new MIS courses has been introduced in the MBA program:

• MIS in Bangladesh
• Human Computer Interaction

Major Declaration Booth for MIS:
A major declaration booth was set up at the ground floor of campus 1 & 5 for interested students who wanted to declare MIS as major. Information about MIS courses, MIS faculties, course flow chart, career prospects, etc. was also provided from this booth.   Talk Show for BBA Students:
A talk show titled “Demands for the Major in MIS in Corporate” was organized by the dept. of MIS in the auditorium at 3:30 pm. Ms. Farheen Hassan – Head of MIS, Assistant Professor conducted the whole program. The program began with a cheerful welcome speech by Dean of FBA – Dr. Charles C. Villanueva. Mr. Rezwanul Alam – Assistant Professor of MIS conducted a presentation highlighting all the changes brought  in MIS courses for BBA program. After the presentation  an interactive talk show session took place where a wonderful student crowd joined the following discussants: Mr. Mashiour Rahman, Dept. Head – CS; Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director – Student Welfare, AIUB;  Mr. Danilo G. Morgia, Deputy Director – Software, AIUB. Mr. Rezwanul Alam, Assistant Professor, Department of MIS, AIUB moderated the session. Mr. Ehsanul Huda – director of BBA provided the vote of thanks. The program ended with a concluding note form Ms. Farheen Hassan. Talk Show for MBA Students:
A talk show titled “Potential Job Opportunities for MIS Professionals” was organized by the dept. of MIS in the auditorium at 6:30 pm. Ms. Farheen Hassan – Head of MIS, Assistant Professor conducted the whole program. The program began with a cheerful welcome speech by Dean of FBA – Dr. Charles C. Villanueva. Mr. Rezwanul Alam – Assistant Professor of MIS conducted a presentation highlighting all the changes brought  in MIS courses for MBA program.
