Launching of New Book “Management and Services”

A new book entitled "Management and Services" has been published by Sciyo.com from Croatia and edited by our colleague, Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, Assistant Professor, Department of Operations Management in October, 2010. ISBN: 978-953-307-118-3. He has one chapter entitled "An Empirical Research of ITESCM (Integrated Tertiary Educational Supply Chain Management) Model" in that Book. AIUB name has been used in the Preface and Chapter 1 with Dr. Habib’s name.  The hard copy of this book is now available in AIUB Library. http://sciyo.com/books/show/title/management-and-services On the eve of auspicious program, AIUB arranged a new book launching ceremony in AIUB Auditorium at 01.00pm on 8th November (Monday), 2010. Welcome message was delivered by Associate Prof. Dr. AKM Matiur Rahman, Associate Dean of Faculty of Business Administration. Honorable Associate Dean launched the book “Management and Services” by cutting the ribbon along with the Authors and other colleagues. “About the Author” and whole program was exclusively conducted by Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Faculty of Operations Management (OM). Mr. Hasan Maksud Chowdhury, Faculty of OM, discussed on this book. Mr. Zobair Shibli, Head of OM; Dr. Dulal Miah, Head of Finance; lots of faculty members, students were attended in that ceremony. There was Q & A session. Finally, Faculty members and Students took snapshots with the author. As a researcher, Dr. Md. Mamun Habib has about 20 research papers in renowned Conferences, reputed Journals and Book chapters.  His first book chapter was published in the Book entitled "International Retailing: Text and Readings" by Excel Books from India. He is the Editor/Editorial board member/Reviewer of different books, reputed international conferences and journals, including Journal of Operations Management (JOM) – Elsevier, Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) – Wiley-Blackwell, Scientific Journals International, etc.
