LaTrobe University delegation team meets AIUB Vice Chancellor

Thursday 11 September 2014 On September 9, 2014, a delegation team from LaTrobe University, Australia met with AIUB Vice Chancellor, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna. Dr. Suzanne Zyngier, Associate Dean (International), Faculty of Business, Economics & Law, Professor Leigh Drake, Executive Dean, Faculty of Business, Economics & Law from LaTrobe University participated in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Amit Malhotra, Manager South Asia of LaTrobe University, Mr. Mostafizur Rahman, Business Development Manager, Australian High Commission in Dhaka, Dr. Ehsan Uddin Ahmed, Associate Dean, Faculty of Business Administration and Mr. Abdul Kader Nazmul, Director, BBA Program & Coordinator, Office of Sports. The meeting included discussions on professional qualifications on Sports Management/Administration (Certificate courses on Sports Management/Administration/Coaching), ongoing process models for AIUB and LaTrobe University for partnership, capacity building training programs at LaTrobe University for AIUB Faculty members, Visiting Faculty from LaTrobe University to AIUB for resource development programs, transfer of knowledge and skills, capacity development, involvement of the industry and sports bodies and funding issues.
