Japanese Embassy officials Visited AIUB Campus

Mr. Omura Hiroshi, First Secretary, Culture Section, Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh along with his wife Mrs. Marcia Omura and Mr. Ken Komine, Culture Section in Embassy of Japan visited AIUB’s different Campuses on Saturday, September 06, 2008. During this visit program they visited AUIB’s BBA Campus, Science Campus and Engineering Campus and lab facilities. They showed very keen interest and expressed great satisfaction in seeing the Engineering Labs, Architecture Studios, Language Lab, Computer Lab, IT infrastructures including Library and other facilities of AIUB. A formal meeting was held with Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna and Founder Vice President (HRD/ ADMIN/ Treasury) Mr. Hasanul A. Hasan. They talked about the various development activities of AIUB and both parties agreed to start a congenial relationship to pave the way for collaboration efforts with Japanese Universities.
