Introduction of IET to AIUB

Mr. Ashfaq Mollah, who is the Vice Chairman of Young professional at IET (Institution of Electronics and Technology) from the UK came to spread word of this organization to the EEE students of AIUB. Jumanah Shireen Khan was present there to welcome him with IEEE AIUB Student Branch. This was the first seminar of IET held in Bangladesh. He mentioned the goals and missions of IET in Bangladesh, such as establishing a silicon valley, recruiting skilled individuals and sending them abroad to speak at conferences, and helping Digital Bangladesh. An interactive discussion was carried out with him and the EEE students who were present there. After the presentation, he handed out brochures of IET and encouraged everyone to join IET along with IEEE.
