On Monday, 3rd August 2026, the Department of Economics organized an engaging Internship Clinic at the Media Studio, Annex 2, Level 2, aimed at providing graduating students with essential knowledge and practical guidance to prepare for internship opportunities and make a successful transition into the professional world.

The interactive session was conducted by Mr. M. Mushfiqur Rahman, Learning Experience & Talent Partner, Human Resources, Business HR Operations, Chevron Bangladesh, who shared practical, industry-focused insights on internships, workplace expectations, professional conduct, and the skills students need to develop to make the most of their internship experience. Through presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, students gained valuable guidance on navigating internship opportunities, understanding workplace culture, and building the competencies required to succeed in a professional environment.

The session was facilitated by Dr. Faria Sultana, Associate Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Head, Department of Economics, who encouraged students to actively participate and make the most of the opportunity to learn from an experienced industry professional.

Designed specifically for graduating Economics students enrolled in the Professional Development course, the clinic provided practical strategies, real-world perspectives, and actionable advice to help participants understand the fundamentals of internships, develop professional readiness, and approach their internship journey with greater confidence.
