On Thursday, September 11, 2025, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES), organized an Industrial visit to Sparktech Agency in Aqua Tower, Mohakhali, Dhaka. A group of 25 students, along with Dr. Muhammad Morshed Alam (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), engaged in the visit to gain firsthand insight into the industry's application of cutting-edge technologies, understand the corporate culture, and explore future career and internship opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
The visit commenced with an in-depth technical session on AI & ML, which provided a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts, focusing on their practical applications within projects. Following the theory, a hands-on demonstration of the tools and platforms used by the company's engineers was provided, which was incredibly valuable for understanding the end-to-end workflow of a professional AI project. Following the session, a tour of Sparktech Agency’s workplace was given. The workspace offered a glimpse into the dynamic and collaborative work environment. During this tour, attendees had the opportunity to interact with a panel of professionals from diverse roles, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers and many more.
The visit concluded with an interactive Q&A session to enhance their understanding of AI & ML. The discussion then shifted to internship opportunities, application processes, networking, and career guidelines. As a gesture of gratitude, Dr. Muhammad Morshed Alam (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) presented tokens of gratitude to Mr. Farvez Hossen (General Manager, Sparktech Agency), Mr. Mursalin Ahammad Imon (Team Lead, BPU), Mr. Farid Ishraque Zarif (AI Team Lead), Mr. Pritom Banerjee (AI Team Lead), and Mr. Shariar Opu (Admin).
