On Thursday, July 2, 2026, a group of aspiring students from the department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) embarked on an industrial visit to RFL Industrial Park (RIP) in Mulgaon, Kaliganj, Gazipur. Supported by the IEOM Aiub Student Chapter and accompanied by Dr. Md Mahadi Hasan, Associate Professor and Mr. Mahamudul Hassan, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; the tour offered participants valuable exposure to real world manufacturing operations and industry practices.

The visit began with a warm welcome from the RFL team, followed by refreshments and an introduction to the company’s diverse product portfolio in the display room. Participants then watched a corporate presentation showcasing RFL’s journey, achievements, and operations. Guided by a Quality Control Officer and a Food Engineer, the group toured the production facilities and observed the manufacturing processes of beverages, carbonated drinks, and bakery products, gaining valuable insights into modern production techniques, quality control practices, and large-scale industrial operations.

Following the factory visit, participants enjoyed lunch before joining an interactive discussion session with company officials. Students actively engaged in a Q/A session, gaining practical insights into production management, quality control, workplace safety, and career opportunities within the manufacturing industry.

As a token of appreciation, gift hampers were presented to Mr. Md Zakirul Islam, Deputy General Manager (Factory); Mr. Jahangir Alam, Assistant General Manager (Pran Beverages Limited-Operations), Mr. Imam Hossain, Assistant General Manager (Quality Control); Mr. Al Ferdous Bhuiah, Senior Manager (Admin); and Mr. Hasibur Rahman, Deputy Manager  (Training) on behalf of AIUB by Dr. Md Mahadi Hasan and Mr. Mahamudul Hassan.

The visit concluded with a stop at the direct sales outlet and a group photograph, making the experience both educational and memorable.
