AIUB community of Engineering Students (ACES) organized an Industrial tour to Radiant Alliance Ltd. on 12^th of November 2015 at Aukpara, Ashulia. 23 students along with 2 faculty members were present in this industrial tour from EEE department of AIUB. The team was led by Mr. Debajit Saha (Lecturer, Department of EEE, AIUB) and Mr. Mehedi Hasan (Lecturer, Department of EEE, AIUB).

The main focal point of this industrial tour to Radiant alliance Ltd was to observe the production operations and the assembling of its brand called Omera solar. The destination was reached at 11am. Radiant Alliance Ltd has many more diversities but it is the only company that has a brand dedicating their work and research to solar panels production and improvement factors. The industry is well equipped with hardware systems that had been fully upgraded with more efficient systems to make production cost lesser and achieve a better feedback with a less man-power.

On arrival, the students were greeted by the CEO, Mr. Abhijit Barua and plant manager, Engr. Nazmul Karim. At about 12 noon, students were briefed and informed about the history, rules and regulations of the industry. Then its base of operation was briefed by Engr. Nazmul Karim and Engr. Kazi Umme Jahan (Executive). Various processes of solar panel design including solar panel efficiency were explained to the students with thorough speculation of the composites required for such processes. The machineries required to test the solar panel of its characteristics were also briefed with working processes. Furthermore the students had been allowed to analyze the connections of a solar panel to its business segment projects. The whole team was led throughout the industry by Mr. Shakib Hasan Khan (Assistant sales manager).

ACES expressed profound gratitude for giving the opportunity to such an educational walk throughout the industry and handed over gifts to the authority of Radiant Alliance Ltd. as a token of appreciation for their effort. The managing team thanked the visitors for taking the time to visit their factory and also invited the students of AIUB for internship programs at their factory. The managing team also praised AIUB for taking such an appreciable initiative to let the students relate between the theoretical part and the practical environment and acknowledge such difference for a better tomorrow.
