Inauguration of short term training course for the EEE students at TICI

Inauguration of short term training course for the EEE students at TICI and a visit to TICI labs by faculty members of EEE department on 4th June 2011

Five faculty members of EEE department, Dr. Bashudeb Chandra Ghosh, Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Mr. Rinku Basak (Dept. Coordinator), Dr. Md. Kamrul Hassan, Mr. Shamendu Roy Rohit took part in the inauguration ceremony of the 1st short term course of EEE students at TICI, Polash, Narshindhi. For the 1st time 60 students are taking part in the three week long course in Electrical Instrumentation, Process control, PLC, DCS, Protection, Safety etc. The faculty members then visited the important labs of TICI and were acquainted with the Urea fertilizer manufacturing process. The students were encouraged by the visit of the faculty members. Faculty members also gathered knowledge about process control, automation etc. It created a link between the University, industry and professional training institute.
