The topic of robotics is of high interest and a large number of students both from Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science and Information Technology attended that technical seminar. Dr. A.B.M Siddique Hossain, Honorable Dean, Faculty of Engineering initiated the seminar by inspiring the students to learn about the field of robotics and try to implement the knowledge in reality. To enlighten the students about the prospect of Robotics in Bangladesh, Md. Kishwar Shafin, Lecturer, Computer Science and Engineering Department, Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) conducted the seminar as the guest speaker. Md. Kishwar Shafin was the team leader of team Mongol Barota which is the first team from Bangladesh to participate in University Rover Challenge competition. The competition is arranged by The Mars Society, USA and sponsored by IEEE Robotics & Automation Society.
