On 7^th August, 2016 IEEE AIUB Student Branch organized a seminar titled “An Hour with AIUB Robotic Crew” at Room No. 265, Faculty of Engineering Building, AIUB. The seminar began at 4:00 pm with the opening speech from Ms. Tasnuva Tasneem, Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; WIE Coordinator, IEEE AIUB Student Branch.

Afterwards, Mr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Team Leader, AIUB Robotic Crew, took the stage and started his presentation and in his presentation he discussed briefly how the team was formed and how they began their work to make their Rover for the University Rover Challenge (URC). He talked about how he helped to guide everyone to work as a team and plan their work, how they divided their time and learned all the things required to progress with their project. During his speech he also talked about all the hardships the entire team had to face and how they had overcome them with shear dedication. Later Mr. Shabab Iqbal, Member, AIUB Robotic Crew; Webmaster, IEEE AIUB Student Branch, went up on stage and discussed briefly on what they had to learn in terms of geography, biology, chemistry and soil testing in order to make the Rover.

After that, Mahfuzur Rahman took the stage again and introduced the ARC team to the audience. Following that, Mr.  Kazi Ahmed Asif Fuad, Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; Motivator, IEEE AIUB Student Branch; Publicity Coordinator, IEEE Bangladesh Section, took the stage and gave the closing speech thus concluding the event. A small token of appreciation was presented to the ARC team by Mr.  Kazi Ahmed Asif Fuad on behalf of IEEE AIUB Student Branch. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Tasnuva Tasneem, Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB;WIE coordinator and Motivator, IEEE AIUB Student Branch and Mr.  Kazi Ahmed Asif Fuad, Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB; Motivator, IEEE AIUB Student Branch; Publicity Coordinator, IEEE Bangladesh Section along with 30 IEEE AIUB Student Branch members and 20 students of AIUB.
