IEEE AIUB Student Branch hosted a Seminar on “LTE – Long Term Evolution”
IEEE AIUB Student Branch recently arranged a technical seminar on LTE (Long Term Evolution). The seminar took place on the 9th of November at room 266. The seminar was targeted towards students who have interests in pursuing a career in networking and communications. The guest speaker was Mr. Ahmedul Quadir, Software Developer, LTE, Ericsson AB, Sweden.
The event was initiated by Mr. D.M.S Sultan, Asst. Prof. Faculty of Engineering followed by Prof. Dr. ABM Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering who welcomed the guest speaker and emphasized on the core topic of the seminar. This was followed by the key note speech delivered by the guest speaker.
The seminar mainly covered the basics of Long Term Evolution. The key topics covered were SAE/LTE Architecture, Spectrum, Channel Structure, Time-domain structure and Downlink Uplink details. The seminar ended with an interactive Q/A session.
