IEEE American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) Student Branch, also referred as IEEE AIUB SB has secured Second Position in the prestigious IEEE website contest “IEEE Region 10 Student Branch Website Contest-2019” by competing with 718 Student Branches from all the 58 sections under Region 10. The first and third position is held by IEEE Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Sciences Student Branch and IEEE Curtin University – Sarawak Student Branch respectively. Each year IEEE Region 10 organizes the IEEE R10 Website Contest; with an aim to motivate student volunteers to fully utilize electronic media for keeping member informed about the local IEEE activities and opportunities to benefit extensively from their membership. This year, more than 1430 Student Branches applied for the R10 website contest; amongst which 718 Student Branches were able to meet the set criteria and moved on through the competition.
