Dr. Syeda Afroza Zerin, Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Law at AIUB, participated in the Study of U.S. Institutes (SUSI) program from 27th June to 7th August 2024 as a fully funded SUSI Scholar, courtesy of the U.S. Department of State’s Exchange Programs.
This transformative experience provided her with profound insights into international relations, cross-cultural dynamics, and a thorough understanding of U.S. culture, identity, society, and values. The program featured rigorous academic engagement, panel discussions, networking opportunities with esteemed global researchers, and immersive excursions.
A standout aspect of her journey was the chance to connect with 17 remarkable individuals from various countries. Dr. Zerin greatly valued the opportunity to exchange diverse experiences and knowledge with these international peers.
