Department of Operations Management of American International University-Bangladesh arranged a guest lecturer session on 7 August, 2016, for the OM Major students of Risk Management (BBA). To enhance the Students’ knowledge base, A K M Nurol Huda, General Manager Operations, Supply Chain Department, JMI Group, gave a presentation on the Importance of Risk Management in the corporate world of Bangladesh. With sharing his practical knowledge, the speaker addressed how to monitor and control risk in corporate sectors of the country. After the presentation an open discussion session took place.

Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Associate Professor & Director, MBA program, delivered a vote of thanks to the guest speaker for his valuable speech and closed the session by presenting a certificate of appreciation and a gift pack.

The course teacher Dr. Tamanna Islam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Operations Management arranged the session. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Head of the Department of Operations Management, Ms. Sadia Rahman and Ms. Nazmun Nahar Assistant Professor, Department of Operations Management provided their continuous support for the arrangement of the session.
